A cast of prize-winning young singers brings their popular Opera Appetizers show to Ripon Cathedral on Saturday 16th November at 7.30pm. This highly-acclaimed production will appear for one night only in aid of the Cathedral Development Campaign.

Indeed, a few lucky volunteers will be invited to take part in the Tavern scene from Carmen (including taking advantage of the free glass of wine they will use as a prop!).


The company, whose patron is Dame Felicity Lott, will perform highlights from Mozart’s Magic Flute and Cosi fan tutte, Bizet’s Carmen and Nicolai’s Merry Wives of Windsor. The evening promises to be an excellent introduction to opera for the uninitiated as well as an evening of pleasure for aficionados.
